THANDEKA MAGOMOLA – Office Events Manager & Tender Liaison

Thandeka matriculated in 2010, and completed her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations Management in 2014 at Durban University. Thandeka then moved to Johannesburg in 2015 and joined Events Galore in April 2015. 


Key responsibilities:

 Office

  • Completion and submission of tenders – conference and events
  • Attend briefings, and site inspections
  • Collaborate with external suppliers / event clients and stakeholders
  • Event budget and price negotiation from suppliers
  • Advise and provide technical requirements
  • Conference management and liaison with venues
  • Office administration for conferences
  • Liaison with the event director and event account administrator
  • Liaison with the events director

  • Intelligent and a self-starter
  • Excellent communicator and negotiator
  • Good listener and understanding of the business
  • Multi lingual, with the ability to interact well with clients
  • Maintains good relations with clients
  • Thinks logically and quickly

  1. Hi Thandeka wanted to know if you can do some branding for me like on my son’s caps and t-shirts.
    what are the costs etc and what other goodies do you put logos or stuff on eg: Hugo Boss, BMW etc.
